"When we were in rehearsals for it pre-pandemic, a lot of the stuff would be filmed and shared with Jim and we would talk about what he had said. And certainly now, the song Rock & Roll Dreams in act 2, in the show that's set up as if it's for Tink" … "There's a lot that resonates in that song for us now, where we're doing it for the plot, but we are really doing it as a tribute to Jim every night, that particular song. And we're trying to stay as true as possible to his music now. A lot of shows you see, people will ad lib around the music, we're very much now trying to be like this is how Jim intended it to be sung, this is how we'll sing it, night after night, for him."
