Children of Scarfe

Just a personal response to Jim's latest blog.

I can thoroughly recommend Children of Men, what a stunning, scarily real, visceral and geniunely thought provoking slab of cinema! I could barely think straight for an hour or two after watching this. Thank ye gods I wasn't driving home...

Anyone else had a similar experience with this film or did everyone absolutely hate it... ;)

Also, I had the good fortune of (kindof) meeting Mr Scarfe and his lovely wife last year, in a professional capacity, of course. They came into the supermarket where I work and he asked me where the dog food was. I was quite impressed as he didn't seem at all star struck by my very presence ...

Thank you for listening :D
