In the first couple of years I thought the show was totally 'uncool', but it has now become a major music industry 'player', whether you like it or not.
I do like the fact that they use a live band in the latter stages, whereas 'X Factor' in the UK doesn't.
I would love to see a Steinman show, and Jim go on as a judge, and even write/produce a song for the winner.
Saying all that, Jim probably hates the show??
