| Actually, in Simon's defense and having no real opinion of the guy except that I do find his snide comments amusing, if you look at the 5 Idol winners so far, they are all different from one another: 1. Kelly - cute pop chick (who got much cuter after she won and met the treadmill, and whose music got better once she rocked it out a little.) 2. Ruben - fat soul guy 3. Fantasia - big-voiced R & B diva 4. Carrie - Faith Hill-esque blonde country queen 5. Taylor - What the Hell is he, anyway??? So, no repetition in the winners, at any rate. But then, I suppose Siomn doesn't pick them, does he? Still, I can't ever recall any of the bone-ugly try-outs getting past the first round. > Simon, is probably, a good man.
