Not quite sure I understand the Bat movie project.
Is Stuart Beattie writing something totally based on his interpretations of the songs, and therefore it might not have anything to do with Peter Pan/Neverland?
I can only see the movie happening if the musical succeeds, and if that happens, surely any backers would want it to be along the lines of the musical?
Would make more sense if Beattie was working with Jim on the musical, with a view to a movie later, but it seems that they are two totally different projects/stories?
Having said all that, I don't mind if they are totally different, I just hope they both happen (with a few new songs in the movie).
