I've just played along to the track, using the B4G sheet music, and you are right in that the Graveyard verse chord structure is the same as the 'god speed' chords, but the melody is different, which makes it 'new' in my eyes/ears.

Thousands of songs use the same chord structure, but if the melody is different, the song is different or 'new'.

The pre-chorus starting 'and I see it all...', and the chorus starting 'Maybe it's a curse...' seem definately new to me, unless you can point out the corresponding parts in B4G ?

I've never been overly bothered with Jim's recycling, as he seems to put a lot of effort into making a completely new piece, as opposed to just a minor alteration on an old piece.

I think they could both work in Bat, as long as the 'god speed' parts are removed from Graveyard.
