| Im sorry, but I just felt the need to write it, I'm not enthusiastic about writing on the musical as its met by severe to nasty negativism, which I understand. All I can say, if some of you know what it takes to mount a 20 million dollar production in the UK know its measured in YEARS not months. ("SPRING AWAKENING" took 8 years to get to OFF Broadway!) Ive been with my producer 2 years total! I just completed a full DVD of the reading mixed with FULL SONGS and NEW visual content to "illustrate" the songs. Im immensely proud of it.And ALL THE SONG "VIDEOS" cost a total of $3,000! Im working full time! There are NEW songs that I havent demoed yet. But STILL THE CHILDREN is the final song, and the CURTAIN CALL reprise is BAT OUT OF HELL arranged for a 35-40 piece choir by Steve Margoshes to be sung live at the very end. There are three others. But I dont want to be subjected to total negativity. Ill move on, thats all! I hope you understand. I doubt you care that Thursday I met with the two top people @ DISNEY TV concerning BIKERRS OF THE ROUND TABLE, which was terrifically successful!! They definitely want to do it! The problem is they demand ALL publishing, which is tuff since 6 years ago I sold ALL OF IT to Carlin Music! But we're sttil trying to work it out!! Anyway, thats it. It did hurt to see Justin, who I considered a good "friend", remark that I was seen as a has been who cant write anymore. But I can absorb anything, that doesnt mean a little jab doesnt hurt. Im sorry if I let you all down--but thats not my job or interest, to be honest, Wagner | |
