I believe the truth is more simple. He wrote the song. Not for anyone. I don't believe Jim writes songs for performers... he writes songs either for musicals or because he has an idea. The only exceptions are that the Renegade Angel BFG songs were written for an album he was contractually obligated to write for Meat... so he knew Meat would be singing them (even in the cases where he didn't) but I still don't think he wrote them for Meat as much as either for Neverland or because he had an idea. I think the major exception is Objects... as this one song clearly ties in to events in Meat's life.
