correct me if i am wrong

meat loaf enjoyed a huge stage presence during his successful years. i just saw for the first time his performance on "the old grey whistle test" courtesy of youtube.com. it was awesome.

in 1993/94, while doing bat 2, i again noticed how the live performances are unique. i also watched some of his other performances from the 80's on through today and noticed some things.

first of all: i believe jim either choreographed or was in some way in charge of meat's live performances. i have come to believe that this is one of the reasons of his continued ability to maintain his career. his "paradise" skit remains as it was almost 30 years ago.

another thing: a big fat guy singing dramatic rock n' roll to beautiful girls. acting like he doesn't give a shit.throwing things. cussing. having fun. since the early days of bat 2, it seems to me that meat loaf keeps doing the same things over and over.

what i want: to see the big guy having fun again. not giving a shit. pumping the crowd up. cussing. want to be a fat 60 year old rocker that captures a new audience? bring back the 30 year old fat guy who knew how to have fun. to get the audience pumped. give us a new old time rock n' roller.

thank you.
