What we can all do as individuals, obviously is to use our cars less or double up, not as easy as all that I grant you, but then saving the world never is ;) Use central heating ONLY when we need it... Buy local produce to encourage this industry as opposed to produce which has to be tankered or trucked in from remote parts of the globe. Reduce the population!! This one is so goddamn simple I can't believe they hadn't spotted it! Have less babies people! Cash rewards for people who have less babies, penalties for those that do!!

On a (slightly) more serious note, I know this is meant to be an age where everyone is politically apathetic, but I'd have to say joining or starting a lobbying group for the high taxation of corporations who waste energy, particularly oil/fuel companies NOT actively involved in the pursuit of alternatives to non-sustainables.

It's that word that's really the key to all this - sustainable - this western world is all lovely and sparkly and shiny and stuff, that's all very well for us, but what about our kids? I know, let's give em Mad Max, that'd be cool!
