Jim's Neverland Is Different Than J.M. Barrie's Neverland

Although Jim's story is a variation and not quite the same as J.M. Barrie's story. It is set in post-apocalyptic Obsidian, Hook is a police chief, Wendy is a lot more grown up, Tink is radically different (more threatening) and its very rock and roll. I hope that Smeghead would agree with me about these details. Its not the J.M Barrie concept recycled. Although it retains a lot of Barrie's soul and spirit. Its what J.M Barrie might have written if he was a famous rock composer living in this day and age.
