On Sunday, January 13th 1974, the musical More Than You Deserve closed at the Public Theater. Fred Gwynne did the matinee performance as usual, but was called away afterwards to film a television commercial. Thus Stephen Collins filled in as Major Dillon for the final evening performance. Now, nearly four decades later, you can pretend you were there.
