Nope. Not me. I love Meat and want nothing more than to see him do a new STUDIO album with Jim, but my imagination isn't that good. I hear Meat singing now, and it's just painful to me. Hollow. I'd rather play the old stuff, or watch the old concert videos, or watch him act. It all sounds to me like he did on American Idol.

I guess I don't have the imagination required to enjoy him now. I will say that if you can get him to sing a duet like he did at Jim's induction ceremony, you can have someone hit the notes and allow Meat to give the music the vocal sound that only he can. That's the best we can hope for live these days.

The Meat/Jim combination has given me more pleasure in this lifetime than I could repay in 10, but no more live performances for me. I'm always tempted when I read reviews like this, but remember to listen to some bootleg online and change my mind very quickly.

God bless them both, and get thee to a studio, now!
