That whole Patrick thing I think was just a way to explain why so many random songs made it on the album.
You could make up any shit: Moron Mike falls down a well and gets confused and thinks of all sorts of ways his life could have been had he not fallen down the well so this is his story...
Loved Prize Fight Lover. Can only think the reaction to the decision when the writer / performers heard from Meat it would not make the album and instead was a free giveaway MP3 was the same as when Desmond Child argued like a moron with Todd Rundgren over that he prefers "If God Could Talk" rather than the far, far, far more logical "If God Would Talk."
