| A new BATMAN demo, a song for the Gothamites. Commissioner Gordon gives a rousing speech outside City Hall, based on the brilliant Peter Finch rant in Network (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_qgVn-Op7Q). He demands that the city fights back against all the villains, and the crowd, slowly but surely, from windows, fire escapes, the street etc, start ranting back 'we're as mad as hell...' En masse, the crowd starts marching in a choreographed 'stomp', to the rhythm of the music (think 'One Day More' from Les Miserables). The music is of course Jim's (Gods/Eternity) but I've changed the rhythm and added some different 'fills'. The intro is supposed to have 'stomping feet' but couldn't quite get the effect, in the time I had to do it. This is a first draft (rough) demo and the vocals aren't brilliant (just try and imagine the choir from TANZ instead), but I wanted to get across the lyrics and rhythm, which I think are cool.
