The first Herald sun review was in the 15th of september newspaper and went as follows

" Yikes. This new album makes Meat loafs AFL MCG career funeral march look inspired. He even dares to sing in diabolical drabaret Who needs the young"My voice just isn't what it was"
No S... mate.Loaf seems to think nobody's noticed his voice is now kaput
Out of necessity female vocalists(including BOOH partner Ellen Foley on the 11 minute GATWIJTS ) do all the heavy lifting and reinforce how unrecognisable Loaf's wounded wildebeeest voice now is
At least they're all Jim Steinman songs(mostly recycled-Skull of your country rips off his own TEOTH)but with Loaf dying at the wheel this just becomes Flat out of Hell
A sad end"

End of review
So apart from not knowing the history of Skull and TEOTH the reviewer didn't care much for the album

The same edition had an interview with Meat over the page.
Just your standard album promo interview with the usual stuff mentioned
