Well, *I* didn't forget it haha. I said Colisseum, Coloseum, Colosseum, SPELLING, because Manchester Opera House was the tryouts and I don't want to decide based on that. "Wicked" was different in try outs too. "The King and I" was REALLY different. There was no "Getting to know you". The Kralahome had a number and the actor resigned when all of that got cut. It was like three or four hours long. Some of the big wigs saw it, and this in the wake of Rodgers and Hammerstein just having a huge hit with "South Pacific", and advised them to close it. They kept going. And that's the show the world saw. In this day and age though, with technical considerations making things more complicated, I hope they're able to make the changes that they want. With "Dance of the Vampires" during previews, it was actually better!! It was worse on opening night!! IMHO!!
