Ok. I have a question.
So what was it like for you guys around 1994 thinking that Jim and Meat were going to deliver on it with another album of some kind? Wasn't there talk of "Bat out of Hell 3" even then? Then Meat did "Welcome to the Neighbourhood" which the record company wanted to call "Escape from Hell" (great title btw) and Meat fought them on it (I just read an article where he said he sat everyone down, his wife and his daughters, saying "Kids, I'm going to retire, I'm going to stop right here" because he just refused to use that title.)

The closest it really came was the Very Best of...material, which I for one thought sounded amazing. But Jim definitely delivers on it, with "All coming back to me now" with Celine etc. But I thought he did that sooner with Bonnie "Making love out of nothing at all" except that it didn't chart the way it should have. I thought that should have been massive.

Definitely think it would have been epic if Meat and Jim had done a version of that in the 90s or for a Bat 3 album.
