There isn't much to say about the script or plot. Mainly because there isn't much script or plot. The dialogue is very basic, clunky, and generally quite badly delivered. Most of the plot seems to exist purely to accommodate the songs, which is back to front as far as a musical is concerned.

The plot of We Will Rock You is much derided as a very bad example of a musical. I think Bat makes WWRY look sophisticated.

I don't think these will be popular opinions on here, but I love Steinman for his music, and that sounded absolutely glorious in the show. But for a great Steinman musical, as a whole package, I'll stick with Tanz der Vampire.
