I don't see the point of the Karine project and I don't think I ever will. She wants to show the world how well she does Steinman without Steinman???!! The Tyce project seemed to start organically and, as I have said, I like Tyce. Alot. I don't know most people involved in either project so my issues are not personal. I also don't want people to think I don't like tributes or mashups, or creative use of any and all of Jim's songs. Nothing is farther from the truth. I think any Steinfan that has been creative, in any and every way, has felt supported by me. I hope so. I also understand why, in the process of trying to promote, people would overstate Jim's involvement, approval, collaboration etc. It's because Jim's magic....even in brief bits....may appear if he had something, anything to do with it. Without Jim, it's no different than Steve Steinman's Vampires Rock cd.
