BTW - last night, the audience wasn't doing much singing around me, you might be pleased to know.
The lady sitting next to me was a long-time Meat Loaf fan, and when we first met she was amazed to hear this was my third time attending. Especially as I'm not from Manchester, as she was.
By intermission, she was buzzing. I mentioned the audience singing, she said maybe it's because we're in the gallery and asked what nights I'd been before, so she's aiming to come back on a Friday or Saturday night in the stalls next time, hoping to be part of a more lively audience.
And at the end, she told me she fully understood why this was my third time. :)
