| Just watched some clips on youtube. It's awesome. Just like a dream comes true. Planning to go to Manchester and London for the show. The best song in the show must be What Part of My Body Hurts the Most. It touches the emotional core of everyone, irrespective of the cultural backgrounds. I must say Jim Steinman is a genius and his works have profound impacts on my life. I have been listening to Jim Steinman's songs since I was 16 when I studied abroad in England. It was 1993 and when I first listened "Anything for Love", I melted. Jim Steinman's songs are purely escapism. Whenever I feel sad, I listen to those songs. When I finish listening, I have to face all those problems in reality again. "Braver Than We Are" is a disappointment. Although Jim Steinman's songs are as great as ever, Meat Loaf has lost the voice and momentum sing those songs. He still has the passion but he can't hit those high notes anymore. I love Meat Loaf but I think this should be his last album. Fortunately BOOH Musical is a success and it has proved, once again, that Jim Steinman's songs are timeless and everlasting. I must go to Manchester and London to watch the show live. I don't want to have any regrets in my life. | |
