Dont know if you still need it (just found this thread), but the hotel I stayed was the
"Berolina Airport Hotel" in Berlin-Adlershof
Single room is 39€ a night, double room 49€.
Its in the outskirts, but the tram-station is just about 300m away from the hotel.
It's very clean and tidy there.
