| Hi, I just wanted to post that I have been having so much fun this week, with some limitations we know, but you've been just great to me, generally and I think you are a great bunch of people. Sometimes I got to forgetting how much time it takes to post and keep up with things like this but I have so many other things that I must do that takes up my time. I just don't want to leave you for a small break without giving something to you. I didn't really get to do a whole lot of talking with Smeghead , but to catch up generally I think he has more on the ball than he shows, and I appreciated a whole lot the interview he patched together and shared with us. It made me laugh alot. I went to his site today and found some really fabulous things that I either didn't realize existed, or had not heard either before or in a long while. Of course, I'm more biased towards Jim and you could probably understand that. So I listened the the recordings of "More Than You Deserve" with Jim on the vocal, the Australian radio interview by phone that he did promoting the Bad For Good album, and the Rory Dodd demo of "A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste". I really had some strong feelings and thoughts coming out of the experience, and most of all the feeling that I want to share it with you. But, not for a whole production of statements and declarations that could make your head or mine, spin. I also wanted to be cognizant of the fact that Smeghead's site bandwidth is his own to budget. So I placed the selections into one of those general file hosts for you to download without any other encumbrances. What I would like it if you could listen for, if you are in the mood, is that Jim does say in the Aussie interview that he sings "Left In The Dark". I've been seeing others saying or seeming to suggest that Rory Dodd has done that and other songs on the album, while my understanding is that Jim did all of his own lead vocals and some of his backing vocals as well. So, if you listen to the three files in the order placed, with the Rory Dodd song last, I wonder if you might, especially after hearing Jim sing so much more recently now, think that the Rory Dodd label of the vocal is in error? http://rapidshare.com/files/26402696/three_selections_jimsteinman.zip.html I'll be checking in, and looking for your responses, thinking well of all of you whether you decide to flog me or not.
