I discovered this album years ago and wondered why it wasn't being planned for the stage, or, worse case scenario, a television special. It is absolutely fantastic. After playing it so many times, I wonder why Jim never considered doing the same thing with Neverland, or Batman. Probably the copyrights would be way to high for Batman but since they approached him in the first place...
Also, if the project were ever revived for the stage, it would be an awesome advertising base. I think the main reason Dance of the Vampires failed was the absolutely dismal advertising approach taken. I'm no genius but I could have made that play a huge success. The promoters and producers were terrible.
