Personally, my feelings are this:
Meat has completely fallen of the radar again. I've recently not been hanging around these here parts of the net, and frankly I'd forgotten that TMiL existed. However many thousands or millions it sold, it's now over and it's never coming back.
I will be VERY surprised if Blind as a Bat is even released as a commercial single in the regions in which All Coming Back was released. The record company would be mad to, it'd be throwing good money after bad in persuit of money that should have been being made three months ago. The album is completely old news and anyone who gave a crap has bought it. The single wouldn't even break the top 100.
Meat can't sing anymore. And he knows it. Studio vocals over the BBC take of BaaB, lipsynching the intro of IACBTMN promo performances. Jim would be nuts to have him sing at the concert thing. Because he can't. And it would marr what will otherwise be an opportunity to have jim's music performed with the production values that completely elude (sp?) Meat.
And why did Meat rush thru TMiL with other songwriters as per his own confession, all for the sake of 1 or 2 years? Cause he knows his voice is getting less and less listenable by the day?
