I agree. I noticed that in the past decade and a half there have been a proliferation of tribute bands to this or that, where what they are being instead are impersonation bands. I'd much rather a band pay homage to the music and leave the image to the original. That includes, despite many opinions of Beatle fans to the contrary, anyone like the Fab Faux, who painstakingly took role to role image replication to their art. I think that Elvis impersonators were the first to break wind in an audiences' directions.
