Thanks for putting this up for folks. I always considered it taboo to talk about this show, so I never did. I just remember reading that Rinkoff didn't like this stuff out there. Then again, being paranoid is pretty much my full time job.

This has probably been my favorite Jim related album for months now. I love the stripped down or slightly tweaked arrangements, and the piano is just brilliant.

The duet version of Objects is not just my favorite version of the song but of any song. I think having the female vocal on the second verse puts the lyrics in a different light, I just think that verse works better female. The third verse just sends it home perfectly. I envisioned a former couple rehashing their childhood and love, with the female telling her side of the story that went unsaid for years and the male still haunted by her.

The arrangements on Hero works really well too. Nice how they start with the old intro and quickly shift to a slower tempo. Again, one of my favorite versions of this song.

Making Love is a little frustrating for me. It starts out great, absolutely great. But I think the song gets the better of the vocalist (Rob Evan, right?), as it does with many vocalist. Even Carrie Underwood was struggling with this one. This is one of Jim's top songs, IMO, and I'm hoping to hear a recording with a really strong male vocal that doesn't crack. Besides Air Supply that is.

Speaking in Tongues, short and sweet. Love it!

Anything for Love, this is my most played version of this song. Probably because I played Meats to death years ago, and also because it's great. Being a fan of live/bootleg recordings hearing the crowd reaction when the vocal come in is cool. Same with the crowd singing softly along with Two out of Three.

I really wish a studio album was done for over the top :(
It's Jim's greatest hits with a little bit of tweaking. It's a good thing we got Bat the musical coming :) I am so ready to hear what Jim has in store for his children this time.

I do not have the Joe's Pub show yet so bring it on! Please, please.
