I didn't think Sick Cycle Carousel was that bad, but it's not memorable enough for me. I like songs that after just one listen I want to listen to it again and again 'Hanging By A Moment' does that for me.
I'm a music first, lyrics second person, so however great lyrics may be, they're wasted on me unless backed up with a great tune.
