Gave it a few listens so far. Yeah, Lost Highway is good. Make a Memory grew on me weeks ago (I even made the ruling at work that if it came on, the volume goes up. The ruling died when the album came out, much to my co-workers delight i'm sure.) Whole Lot of Leaving is sure to become a favorite. I'm actually quite partial to Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore, which I wasn't expecting. I'm not much of a Leann Rimes fan, but it's a pretty good tune. Bon Jovi going Nashville wasn't as drastic as I thought. In fact, We Got It Going On has an ol' Jovi thing going. Maybe that's what they were referring to with the title. I will say they choose a lot of generic sounding song titles, but they've always had a knack of doing that.
I noticed that Desmond Child is the Executive Producer on their album again. I know what an EP does in the film industry, but i'm still unclear when it comes to music. I imagine he just listened to the album and said "sounds good guys" and proceeded to cash his check. Must be the life. I know Jim has been the Executive Producer on a few projects in the past, but i'm sure the levels of involvement vary.
