That was a great performance. Regardless of how it's done on the charts I think it's a great song. I know people were not so happy that it was a downer, but personally I think that's where most of the best music comes from. I'm not that fond of happy pop songs. I like pop songs about being bad or doing bad, like "Never Again", Maroon 5's "Makes me Wonder" and most of 3eb's, Del Amitri's, and Toad The Wet Sprockets' library.
I just watched the video for Never Again last night for the first time and really liked it. It's got a really creepy vibe to it, and the little plastic housewife shot that's thrown in there a couple times just makes me laugh.
