| I'll never forget the first time I met Jim. I was riding a bicycle down the Wild Wood Board walk in New Jersey and I saw a rather strange looking man selling cotton candy. I approached him wondering why he would be wearing a fur coat and leather gloves in 98 degree weather. He told me that he was a song writer and that his wife Susan suggested that he express himself through obnoxious acts such as selling baked goods dressed as a woman, cotton candy dressed as a maverick, and balloons dressed as a dolphin. He said his name was Jim Steinman but he used to be called Jim Cypherd. His wife Susan suggested he change the name. He said they were married in the planet Crygnore 12 in the constellation Mitchupizza. He also told me that he had found some fame writing the film Rocky Horror Picture show and asked if I was a fan. I said I was indeed a fan and that I liked the singer Meat Loaf. He said that he was going to create an album just for Meat Loaf called Bird into Water. I said that it sounded like a spectacular concept. I was excited at the prospect of hearing more from this large man who sang so wonderfully. I suggested Jim change the title though. I thought that the idea of such a wild album would need a flashy title. Bat out of Hell, I said. Name it Bat out of Hell! I even pulled out a paint bucket and with my magic paint brush that can create images I see in my head, used it to draw a potential album cover. My son, you have given me so many ideas on this fine July morning, how can I ever repay you? I told Jim not to sweat it, just to mention me in an internet blog in the Year 2006 or 2007 on his official website. He happily obliged. Just thought you guys would want to know that I am responsible for naming Bat out of Hell. Jim and I have to go play some Wii now though, so I better get going.
