I know some people here think this song, is, like, over performed and not that great to start with. personally, I disagree. Personally, I'd be happy if he performed it at every gig he ever did (luckily for me, that exactly what he does, right? :o) ) and think it's a fucking brilliant song. I would have loved to have done it for Merciless Nite 2. ANYWAY...
I've never heard it this edited down. And whilst the middle bit about different things being defective for different reasons made no sense in this mismatch form, it was overall fantastic. And Meat's vocal performance was, drum roll please, brilliant! He was severely on form. Best I've heard him in ages. About a million per cent of his CHSIB era performances., and in my opinion better too than the "3 bats" recordings of Lemon I've heard. He looked great too.
I like it when Meat performs, I really do. I'm a big Meat Loaf fan. That's why it hurts me so much to hear him unable to hold a note or enunciate a word and have a whole website of little girls and idiot fanboys raving about how great he is all the time. But it's my problem, I'll deal with it...
