Never really get the > song when Bonnie does it, just doesnt work for me. I'm the same way. I prefer the musical version, although the studio Bonnie kicks ass, especially towards the end when it comes together . But, I like the interaction of the duet. You're right, it is very steinman. The back and forth wants of the teenagers, you can almost hear the desperation in the voices. I like how it ends with the dialog "6:30 tomorrow night, I promise" right before the track cut off. It's part of the song to me. I also prefer the musical version AKIATTTW, at least when it comes to lyrical content. With four characters and the tire tracks reprise, there are certain lines that have been dropped from the other versions and understandably so ("i'll kill him if he hurts her", "what am i asker her to do" etc..) I think it's the story that keeps bringing me back to this version. I need to find a way to join the last two minutes of "try not to be afraid" with "AKIATTTW" I'm tired of fast forwarding and it's the perfect intro to the song the lyrics for those that don't have: Let's make a promise And then let's take a vow Time's running out The only time left is now And you know you deserve more than this If you trust me at all Then just give it a chance They all want you to crawl But i want you to dance And if we make a pact Then it's only right we seal it with a kiss | |
