From what I've heard, CDs are ridiculously expensive in Japan. It's often cheaper to import CDs instead of buying them at local stores. The Japanese labels try to counter the gray market importing by offering tracks only available in the Japan. As for Ryan Adams, I have all his stuff, including Whiskeytown. That said, I find his output very uneven. He never quite clicked with me like Steinman or Springsteen. sb | |
