They don't know who Thaya is, or a Kibbee, and they have no idea that Sal Piro is actually her brother Luke Kibbee, who by the way appears to have his home in the vicinity of Microsoft's company, as Luke Kibbee. The identity of Piro resides in and operates from New York. Is there a trotting element to this back and forth? One could say so. The original Piro, if there was ever such a real one, is from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and made himself to look like the character Riff Raff, in the theatre when I met him. Although he was new he already had ideas for the fan club and grilled me about who the writer was. Maybe I'm delayed by thirty years answering the question, but he didn't want to wait that long. He did not want to wait for the author's own chosen time. He wanted a Richard O'Brien, and he wanted a Richard O'Brien then. He asked me how could he have a fan club if there was no writer visible? I said he could have a fan club for the movie and the writer would come when he sees it and decides to show himself. He sat with Thaya, not me during his first show. At the end she asked me to be the first member of the fan club, and I declined because I wanted first to see what he was going to do with it. I met Thaya's brother Luke in the summertime of 1982 and spent a day alone with him. He did not mention RH to me at all. | |
