| Aww thanks for that--sounds interesting! The only tv animation I watch anymore is anime--but not really the titles that seem to be popular on tv here... Oh well As for your question about how long it takes to make an animated show I believe the turn around is about 3 months on most American tv animation? Nearly *everything* animated for American tv is directed and storyboarded here and then shipped off to Asia (usually cheaper Korea) where it's animated, sent back, corrected and then done. (I'm not sure any major shows, including Simpsons, use American studios anymore...)
