With all due respect, I totally disagree... I've never been able to attend a Steintrip and am not personally aquainted with any Steinfans but... I adore Jim Steinman's music and projects (Tanz, anyone). I am in awe of the talent possessed by Markus, BMV, and many others (think NBAMN). I appreciate cultures and countries other than my own (but am not able to travel at the moment). So...through the very generous efforts of Dave, Dr. Rock, Evilnickname, BMV, Markus, and Judibogus (apologies to any I have forgotten)... I can see and read about the various stagings of Tanz. I can enjoy the stylings/expressions others bring to Jim's music. I can experience the sights, attractions, and histories of places I have yet to visit. If anyone is "wasting time" it must be me because it has taken me this long to express my gratitude to everyone (esp Pudding, Dave, Smeghead and Jsteinfan) who takes the time to SHARE so much with so many. To everyone who posts music, videos, photos, and (non-fiction)Steinstories--THANK YOU VERY MUCH Julianna (making her yearly post) | |
