re: Best Stein-Songs ever

My answer to this sort of thread changes over time, for no apparent reason. Right now the favorites are

#1 Not Allowed To Love

#2 We're Still the Children We Once Were

#3 It's All Coming Back To Me Now

#4 What Part of My Body Hurts the Most

#5 Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through

Three of the top four are relatively recent, and still unreleased. I think this songwriter has tended to get better over the years, and I think the three unreleased songs on this list have the potential to connect with listeners more, and differently, than a lot of his successful writings from the 1970's and 1980's.
