No, read one book and saw 1 1/2 movie, was enough for me. It's a childs story on how a child would picture a world could work. For one thing, the magickal university is just too annoying, shifting walls/stairs, free ghosts and just no people there that seem real. Taking the world building I highly doubt any mage of renown would allow that much chaos and anarchy to reign free in an university. Additionally the overt use of deus ex machina grated too much on my nerves.
If I want a magickal university done well, I'll go read Pterrys' Wizard books.
