| I know what you mean, but the south had nothing to do whatsoever with the troubles in the North, actually it had practically nothing to do with it. Yes people hated the English down here in the south because of 800 years of torture and abuse to the Irish people, and for also taking the 6 counties in the North but that was in the 1920s. The days of Collins and DeValera, will never be forgotten but everyone has moved on from it. I mean who would have thought there would be power sharing in the north? Who would have thought Martin Mcguinness and Ian Paisley would work together? no one.
