I think you may have a point there... after all his success as Krolock he would have to play second fiddle to that MC type again... and let's not pretend MC has the voice for it... I thought he made a lousy Phantom compared to Steve to begin with... even the Dutch Phantom was better... more Steve-like in his voice and appearance...
It sure was a shame and I can't help but wonder what DOTV could have done with Steve and Jim... That script sure looked great...
