This is a fact, a fact that is a call for proportion and the urgency where time is the essence of the matter in life. Every moment becomes the moment past. Every year is gone with every new year. Yes it is a positive way to state it, but what I like most about it is not the positive restatement, but the way that it says so much better what the usual statement only reaches superficially. When people emphasize their youth, it is indeed true, that no matter when, they will always be older then.
