A square is inherently symmetrical, as is a rectangle. Even a trapazoid is symmetrical, but a cone cannot be. And I am not averse to saying nothing in a sense of it, but nothing I say makes no sense. > > Usually applied to the > > shape of something or a placement of > > something...equidistant objects form a symmetry when taken > > into relationship with what comes between them. It does not take a mirror image to make something symmetrical. If the photo of one blog were on the left and the photo on the other blog were on the right, the layout would be a mirror image to each other's. Apartment floor plans one side of a hallway of the same building to another, may use mirror images of a floor plan to design units. I saw one apartment three thousand miles from another, however, that were mirror images of the other, though, and that was very interesting indeed. > > I won't comment on this while you hacked the style for > > your steintrips blog. > > Hack? If you chose one of those without choosing one that differed from Jims', and if you chose one of those without trying to make your own, you hacked it. Somehow, blogs get to look different from one another. How could that be? You took that symmetry and turned it into the aesthetics of a triangle. And triangles are not symmetrical. Luckily, you did not write that you never knew me. haha. > > Dave | |
