It probably depends where in the globe you are as to what types are available to buy. But I like the Accu-check Compact. It looks like a flip-up cellphone and contains the test strips and shoots them out when turned on. No more fumbling about trying to put the strip in the correct way etc PLUS it only needs the smallest of samples.
