eh, i quite like Meat's version too (at least his part). in fact i would go as far as to say it was the best song/performance on TMIL if not for the horrible vocals from Jennifer Hudson (i think that's her name). totally lacking in dynamics, just loud for the sake of being loud and makes me feel cold and unloved. can't even listen to the song because of that. Patti could've done wonders with that song...
all in all not an inevitable roar of horror, rather the unrelenting sigh of 'if only'...
