Wow. Never seen this, thanks for posting. A favorite song of mine, and yes, way better than Cher's. This track and "I don't want to be your friend" are probably my favorite Desmond songs.
Wonder why he never really continued his solo career? Probably too hard to sell and more $ in writing song for known acts.
