| I just saw the movie a couple days ago, and read the book a few days prior to that (the novel, not the graphic novel version). I must say, I absolutely LOVED the movie. Honestly, for Robert Deniro alone, it's well worth the admission price. This is a role unlike Deniro has ever done before - and it's amazing. He had the entire theater rolling with laughter. And the movie is just fun. Is it a date movie? Yes and no - it's probably a good movie to bring a date to, but I would hardly call it a "chick flick." The movie is full of quick English humor (a la The Office, Monty Python, etc), and Ricky Gervais did a wonderful job with his small role. Honestly, this movie is worth theater admission. Trust me - you'll be well satisfied after watching this movie! Oh, and the book is good, too. But the movie is even better. > Has anyone been brave enough to see Stardust?
