Take a couple of hours some day when you've got nothing to do. Put on your favorite Steinman-albums and recordings, and just enjoy it. Don't think about it. Don't care about who's singing. Just put on the music really loud, and listen to it. Don't have it in the background of some other activity. Listen to the music as your primary activity. Don't analyze the lyrics. Just dream yourself into the world of the songs.
When I read this board I constantly get the feeling that we are all, at times, overanalyzing Steinman's music and in the middle of everything, we forget to actually enjoy it.
