No, I'm not any PhD student at all, and all I am is highly learned in Social Sciences, with an emphasis on Sociology. I really have no particular interest in a Psych department anywhere, because I think that there is so much flawed in that area. But just so you know, it was Jim who interested me in my Introductory Psychology course (and the only course of Psychology I took with class credit) in college, but that's another story altogether. The Child Development Psychology courses previously were some classes that someone else I knew was taking and I just hung around in the classes. The "experts" didn't know squat, because they couldn't figure out how smart babies really are. Did you know that Psychologists and Sociologists disagree about the most fundamental issues affecting modern society? I agree much with the sociologists, but see that if there was any validity to Psychology they'd best see the role that society plays in influencing one's behaviors. I'm not conducting any "experiments". Get some brown rice, a glass of milk, and take a nap. | |
